Indiana Jones went looking for some Mummys and he never made it out. This was one of our rooms for the haunted house. Of course it’s not very creepy with all the lights on, but when they went out and the lantern was the only thing flickerin’ things were a little different.
I found the chest on Craigslist for $25, borrowed the skeleton from the local community college, bought the lantern for $15, the scene setter for $20, and the Indiana Hat and whip I already had (don’t ask). We placed a couple of actors in the dimly lit room to scare the dickens out of people and all was right with Haloween.
The room looks a little bare. Not too scary if you ask me.
After adding a few actors, turned off the overhead lights, add some fog and scary music that cheesy room became a lair of terror. Good Times.
