Disclosure Policy

To comply with the FTC ruling over bloggers getting paid for reviews and endorsements, I offer the following disclosure policy. If you’re reading this blog you should probably assume the following:

  • If there is a link on a post, or anywhere on this site, I’m getting paid a commission from an affiliate if you buy something (or click on a Google link to the right). Cha Ching!
  • Those ads on the right of the screen are there so that hopefully someone will purchase something they offer and I start rolling in the green. Woo Hoo!
  • If I write a review post for a product or site then I will let you know on the post if I got the product for free or am being paid to review it. However, I will NEVER endorse a product that I don’t believe in. I keeps it real, yo.
  • If you email me ( and I loves me some emails), all of the information in your email is mine to do with as I please. In other words, I will probably use your email in a post, especially if it’s good. So keep ‘em coming ’cause I am running out of stuff to write about.

Here’s how this all played out for 2009

Money I made from ads on my blogs in 2009 (yeah baby!): $137

Hosting costs in 2009: $119.40

Image costs (yes I pay for most of the images I use): $184.92

Time I have spent on this blog multiplied by minimum wage in California: $??? ( I should have kept track)

Possibly helping camp professionals create better programming for their awesome campers: Priceless

(No, I do not receive money from VISA, but I do have a VISA card)

The bottom line is that I currently spend much more than I make to bring you this blog. I hope to change that in the future, of course. So help a brother out and click on some links and buy some stuff.

Hopefully, the above statement clears up any misunderstanding you may have about my blog ads and posts. If you have any questions, you can email me.
